Embellished accents were a major fashion feature this summer, and it appears that it is going to stay that way through the fall. I live for embellishments because they have the ability to seamlessly take any outfit from day to night. I cannot believe I’m saying this, but I was in the city yesterday shopping for my fall wardrobe….I know this summer blew by! But I excited to show you what I found. All of the shopping really worked up an appetite, so I met my cousin at Mercer Kitchen in Soho. It is one of my favorite places in the city and a must try! You HAVE to order the salmon because it sits proudly on top of a heavenly corn mash that is truly life changing! We finished the night off at Morgenstern’s Finest Ice Cream which is an ice cream shop that puts a contemporary twist on old fashioned ice cream parlor. I ordered the Peanut Butter Picoso’s and the Madagascar Vanilla (which was a very good combo on my part)! Head over to my Instagram to see my picture from Morgenstern’s.
