About

Olivia Micheli is the creator of the New York based fashion, beauty, and lifestyle blog, Olivia Micheli. With a background in communication from Fordham University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, Olivia has acquired the essential tools of journalism, marketing, and digital media and coupled that with her love for fashion and beauty to create a lifestyle site that documents the business of personal fashion, beauty & lifestyle. During college and shortly after, Olivia worked for major brands like Ralph Lauren and Club Monaco, but her innate instincts toward fashion started at a young age. Growing up, Olivia always loved fashion and enjoyed shopping with her mother, but for Olivia, it wasn’t so much about consumption. It was the hunt for rare finds and unique pieces that Olivia knew she was going to be able to style in several different ways. As time went on, strangers began stopping Olivia on the streets to ask where she had bought a particular clothing item, which was the catalyst that inspired her to create her blog.

This blog's mission is to share how luxury can be more of a feeling, as well as a value. People, including Olivia, buy luxury goods for a variety of reason, all of which are related to the strong emotions we attach to these luxury pieces. What categorizes luxury isn’t necessarily the retail price of the item or the brand name; it’s whether that item can make you look and feel like the best version of yourself. With this blog, Olivia wants to share more than just a standard outfit post. Olivia's principle venture is to educate her following on several different topics from styling tips to the best beauty products to highlighting the back story of the unique brands and pieces she profiles in each post. Olivia encourages her readers to think about investment pieces that will be in their wardrobes for years to come rather than splurging on items that are solely based on the trends for that season. Olivia's goal is to make fashion more aspirational and attainable and share her rare finds with her readers.
