The holiday season is officially upon us and the feeling of Christmas is finally in the air! This festive season adds several holiday parties to the calendar, which always has me searching for the perfect holiday looks. I am either one of two things: 1). super prepared and figure out what I am going to wear weeks before the event, or 2). I wait till the last minute. We’ve all been there….there’s a party coming up and you want to look really festive, but you waited till the last minute to shop for an outfit. So you either order everything that could possibly work online via overnight shipping or you head to the nearest Zara or department store to scoop up something that will hopefully save the day! This isn’t the best feeling, as I know from experience and this time of year is stressful enough! I want to help eliminate the question of “What do I wear to the holiday party?”. So I know what you may be thinking: party dresses. But, that’s so predictable, not to mention you most likely wear a holiday dress once, get photographed in it, decide you no longer need it and repeat. From work events to cocktails with the girls, weekend celebrations and family gatherings, I’ve been lusting over luxe suits for the holidays – a versatile and timeless outfit you can style in many different ways and wear beyond the holiday circuit.
Outfit Details: L’Acadmie Blazer | Wolford Turtleneck | L’Acadamie Pants | M. Gemi Pumps
From wide-legged, oversized silhouettes to pattern play, women are taking the long-lasting menswear trend and putting a powerful and playful touch on it. They’re the perfect answer to a seasonal holiday outfit that is anything but basic. I personally like combating the masculine feel of a suit with a beautiful fabric and even a pointed pump, like the Esatto pump from M. Gemi. What’s perfect about matching separates is not only do they look fabulous together, but they work very well apart. You can wear the full suit to business holiday gathering one night, and then style the pants with a beautiful silk top, boots and classic black overcoat for a festive dinner party the next night. The blazer can also be worn by itself, belted and paired with a skirt, tights, and boots for more of a fashion statement. Whatever look you are craving, this L’Acadamie suit is the perfect print for the holidays and will surely make a lasting impression.
If you’re not sure where to start, I’ve done the research for you. Below you’ll find a selection of the most luxe suits to wear through the holidays and beyond. Enjoy!’
