If I had to choose my favorite animal print, cheetah would be at the top of my list. It’s versatile, fun, and has totally made a comeback as today’s newest neutral. It’s this season’s must-have print. When you combine this print with the sleek construction of a power suit, you have achieved the ultimate look for this Fall’s printed power suiting trend. Women’s pantsuits have come a long way since Yves Saint Laurent designed the first of its kind – the Le Smoking tuxedo suit in 1966. Since then, the matching separates have been reimagined in modern silhouettes, bright hues, and fierce prints. Taking notes from the early-90’s minimalistic power suits, Frame has created a modern iteration of the cheetah power suit. When I saw Frame’s Fall 2017 Ready-To-Wear, I loved the textured outerwear and velvet suiting, as they were unlike anything that I have seen from the brand.I remember my first cheetah print piece. I was five and it was a furry oversized cheetah jacket, from a store called Talbots and it was all I wore. No matter what, that little cheetah print jacket was all I wanted to wear because even at five, those spots made me feel powerful and very in style! I still have that jacket, but I thought it was time for an upgrade. This velvety cheetah blazer is tailored with a slim classic silhouette but takes on a more exotic look with a bold cheetah print. When I first slipped it on, I instantly loved the fit, length and the padded shoulders, which gives the body definition and a more feminine look.
When I tell you that these pants fit me like I a glove, I mean that I haven’t found a pair of cropped flared pants quite like these. Whenever I try cropped flared pants, they always end up being too cropped. I am 5’9”, so cropped usually means ‘capri’ pants for me. But that was not the case for this particular pair from Frame. The cropped length is perfect and the positioning of the flare is extremely flattering on the leg. This silhouette sits high on the waist, which you know I love, and the soft velvety fabric makes them extremely comfortable, with a bit of stretch. These pants are unlike anything I’ve seen from Frame, and I literally want this style in every color, fabric, and print because they are really that good.
I really hope you enjoyed this post! You can shop this look and similar items below!

Liv
