Happy Tuesday! Hope you guys are having a great week so far. I’m excited to share this look that we shot in Soho last week, right before the heat wave hit NYC. If you aren’t in NY and haven’t experienced the heat, let me tell you….its on a new level. It feels like your walking around in dessert heat! It seems like its dying down today, which means that I can get back to wearing lighter denim, like my new favorite A Gold E pair that I picked up a couple of weeks ago. I am starting to curate different pieces for fall and I am specifically looking at denim for fall.
Cropped flares are definitely at the top of my list for one of the must have styles to have for his upcoming season – along with raw hems & high-rise fits. Flared denim is back and better than ever. The cropped fit comes with a variety of benefits, like being able to show off your cute shoes and being very figure flattering. I recommend finding a pair that hits right above the ankle for this particular style of denim, because it helps to create a longer look. This pair of A Gold E denim combines the cropped flared silhouette with the distressed hem and high-rise fit – which I absolutely love. The cropped flared style tend to be high rise as well, so I decided to knot my button down to break up the look and show off the styles figure flattering waist. I chose to accessorize with my favorite Mango block heel and my new weaved saddle cross body bag from Deux Lux! Thank you Dex Lux for sending me this gorgeous handbag! I absolutely love the color of the light brown suede is so versatile.
