I had this experience when wearing the Gal Meets Glam Collection Courtney dress for the very first time. I’ve always been a lover of dresses, and an admirer of Julia Engel, so when I received news of the Gal Meets Glam Collection, I knew it was going to be a magical pairing.
Gal Meets Glam Collection is a modern line of dresses by Julia Engle. When creating her collection, Julia wanted to celebrate classic sophistication, feminine elegance, and romantic details. I had the opportunity to meet Julia back in March, and she is genuinely beautiful, kind and elegant. It is so refreshing to see that Julia is 100% authentic and true to herself.
I am proud to say that the fit, quality, and design of the Courtney dress is just like Julia- beautifully timeless. The day before the launch of her first collection, I saw this blue and white number in the GMGC lookbook and knew that this dress was the one for me. You all know blue and white seems to be my color palette for Spring, which is why I instantly fell in love with the Courtney dress. The structured maxi silhouette, paired with the striped pattern feels so fresh and feminine. My favorite detail is the delicate ruffles on the sleeves, as it makes this piece feel so elevated and perfect for the summer.
When I came across these freshly bloomed cherry blossom trees in a nearby park, it made me think of Julia and the beautiful scenes her and Thomas capture on her blog. In Gal Meets Glam style, it felt like the perfect place to showcase the Courtney dress. This dress made me feel sweet, feminine and beautiful, which is everything you could ever want in a dress. I paired it with simple Castañer espadrilles, which are a favorite for my warm weather wardrobe.

Everything was so well thought out, and you can tell this collection is a labor of love.
