If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, you’ll know that a jumpsuit is one of my absolute favorites! If I ever created a woman’s wear line, the first piece in my collection would without a doubt be a classic staple jumpsuit. They are simple, chic, comfortable and a complete look in one simple piece. I always gravitate towards a jumpsuit when I’m in need of a timeless option in a pinch for dinner or an event. A jumpsuit can work for nearly every occasion, which is why I am sharing my spring jumpsuit guide featuring this cute check cotton jumpsuit from Mango. This post was inspired by the countless of questions that I receive from all of you on Instagram asking for advice about what to wear for special occasions. Ask and you shall receive! Today I’m rounding up some of my favorite jumpsuits for spring and sharing the outfit details on this look.
A jumpsuit is a must-have closet staple that can easily be dressed up or down and layered over. I paired this jumpsuit with a pair of scalloped block heels, to help elongate the leg and create a dressed up look. I love wearing this utility-inspired jumpsuit with a pair of white sneakers for a more casual day look as well. The cuffed hem allows you to be versatile with your shoe choice, so you could even wear this look with a black pump, tan pump or a tan/black/white boot. It all depends on the look you’re going for. When styling a jumpsuit, I like to keep the accessories down to a minimum, so a dainty lariat necklace and a complimentary layering piece are all you need. Let the jumpsuit be the focal point of your look and only wear accessories that will compliment it, rather than take away from it.
