Happy 2018 everyone! I hope you’re all enjoying the new year so far! Over the holidays you may have noticed that I took some much needed time away from the online world to relax, rejuvenate and reset. It was amazing to have the ability to take a step back and think about what I wanted to accomplish in this new year. I have to admit, the days felt nice and long when there was nothing on my schedule and I felt completely and totally relaxed. But, I’ve missed being away from my computer and I cannot wait to share some fresh and exciting content with you guys! For starters, let’s talk about 6 of my favorite winter white faux fur coats that are perfect for the cold winter days ahead.
While I know this tends to be the time of year where the Winter blues set in, I like to think of it as a time to fully embrace my winter wardrobe and test out a few items that I have been saving for colder temps. This winter white faux fur moto jacket from Eaves is such an elevated take on faux fur. The dramatic oversized collar, with the hints of brown leather detailing, give this piece a luxurious feel. I was pleasantly surprised by how warm this faux fur coat was even in windy conditions, which is definitely a bonus.
The moto silhouette on this coat helps to give subtle shape to the body, especially if and when you decide to zip up and strap yourself in! But when you leave the coat open, it has more a slightly oversized and cozy feel. The lines of the coat, which are apparent with the brown leather detailing down the front, also help to create more of shape, rather than give you a boxy fur look.
I wanted to keep the color palette for this look light and airy, so I opted for this distressed AGOLDE denim and my favorite white boots. The white turtleneck bodysuit, distressed denim, and boots were an easy and effortless combination, that helped to streamline the look. I find myself constantly (and carefully) taking them out of that classic and oh-so-gorgeous purple box and styling them with almost every look. I’ll leave you with one final remark: when styling faux fur, my main tip is to keep the base of your outfit simple and let the faux fur do the talking. Winter white has to be one of my all-time favorites, so I found 6 faux fur coats that will work in every climate.
