Outfit Details: Reformation Pace Jumpsuit (similar option here, & here) | Club Monaco Heels | Urban Outfitters Sunglasses
Like the LBD, a black jumpsuit has become a staple in my closet. They are my favorite alternative to a dress probably because they are just as easy and they can give you a complete look with one simple piece. This Reformation Pace Jumpsuit is a favorite of mine for this summer and the light linen material is perfect and seasonally appropriate. Reformation jumpsuits, like the one I wore in this Instagram post, and jumpsuits, in general, are classic, flattering and such a chic option. When I am in a pinch and don’t know what to wear, I always end up grabbing this piece.
While I do love a statement summer dress, like the one I wore in this weeks post, the LBJ (Little Black Jumpsuit) has to come in a close second as one of my favorite pieces. The Pace Jumpsuit from Reformation is a modern take on the classic jumpsuit. Who knew the 20th century lace-up corset detailing would be so modern and fresh in fashion today. From standalone corset belts to layered bustier tops, it is clear that this trend isn’t going anywhere – specifically when layered.
The corset helps to cinch in the waist and accentuate the smallest part of your torso. I really love the monochromatic linen layering of this jumpsuit and you all know I am obsessed with a wide leg silhouette. This piece is so unique, yet so wearable and classic. Paired with my tallest black wavy sandals, the all black ensemble helps to break up the all black look and elongate my legs for an overall elegant, yet edgy look.
