Spring is in the New York air today! I don’t know about you, but I’ve had enough of the bone chilling winter days! I hope that it will only get warmer from here so I can break out my light spring trenches and put away my puffy down coat. There is nothing like the perfect trench, and when you find it, there is nothing like it. The one that I am wearing in today’s post is a latest find that I purchased online at Club Monaco. This coat has become on of those staple pieces that I keep on rotation, because I absolutely love it. The bold navy plaid and the modern silhouette just makes it oh so perfect. The plaid makes such a statement, while being so wearable at the same time. I decided to style it with light blue denim, navy velvet boots and a creamy off white sweater. As you can see, blue is one of my favorite colors, so any chance I get I love mixing and matching different shades of blue to create a subtle monochromatic look.
