Denim is taking over the fashion scene right now, but I’m not talking about the various styles and fits of jeans. Though cropped flares, vintage Levis and relaxed straight fits are on a weekly rotation in my wardrobe, a cool denim romper is at the top of my spring shopping list. I have an affinity for rompers, as they are so easy to wear and a one piece look. I love this one from Boohoo.com because of the ruffled sleeves and off the shoulder detailing. I wanted to break up the all denim look and cinch in the waist just a bit, and this luxurious suede belt did just that.
When I saw this romper on Boohoo I pictured it being styled with an over-the-knee boot (yes, my obsession with OTK boots have carried over to spring) and I knew my new Stuart Weitzman Lowland boots would be perfect. This suede buff color pair goes with so many pieces in my wardrobe, so I couldn’t pass them up!
Don’t be afraid to try different denim trends. If you just cant give up wearing your favorite pair of jeans, look for a denim piece to incorporate into your look…possibly a denim shoe, shirt or handbag!
