Hello everyone! Sorry I haven’t been able to post on the blog recently. As most of you may know, the temperatures have significantly dropped and there was a blizzard in New York. The snow and the frigid temperatures make it really difficult to shoot outdoors! The only nice this about this weather is that I got a relaxing snow day out of it….but anyway… I tried to style a look that would keep me somewhat warm (when I didn’t have my jacket on in between shots), while featuring one of my favorite layering pieces and my new boots!
When I’m cold and want a quick and easy layered look I always grab a knit sweater and my favorite vest! I’ve had this piece in my wardrobe for a long time and I am so happy that I made the investment. I know a vest is a little impractical on its own right now, but I like to wear a baggier jacket over the top to stay warm! This vest adds a really nice texture to the overall outfit and I throw it over a chunky knit any chance I get.
I definitely wanted to incorporate my new Zara boots into this look! I knew that the neutral tones of the vest would work really nicely with these tan boots. The fringe detailing added some really playful movement to the look!
