LIV GOES TO NYFW – MONIQUE LHILLIER

Day 2 of NYFW was another success! The first show I attended was the Monique Lhuillier show and it was absolutely magical! The collection was soft and feminine, yet sporty and modern! It was filled with exaggerated shapes in the skirts and trouser, making an overall playful and younger collection. The beautiful shower of iridescent confetti during the final walk, added that extra ‘magical’ element.

The second show was August Getty, who made his NYFW debut this year! The collection was filled with eveningwear and a simple color pallet of black, white, gold, pink and lilac. I loved going backstage to see how they made the models runway ready. The hair was long, straight and sleek and I lived for the minimal, dewy makeup look. Can’t wait to see more of August Getty!
