Today, I spent the day in New York City. There is nothing like walking around the city, on a beautiful day and then shopping! I went to Barney’s New York, where I found these gorgeous Balenciaga boots. You’ll be sure to see them in an upcoming post.

I chose a boho chic outfit for my shopping spree. I love this cropped knit because of the soft material and light pink color. It went perfectly with these floral, wide legged pants. The “Alexa Pant” from Brandy Melville comes in several different patterns and they are a great fit.

Every chance I get, I work them into an outfit…and that is just what I did with this all-black ensemble. This velvety floor-length skirt is from one of my new favorite designers Nili Lotan. I love the brands minimalistic yet modern-feeling separates, including this gorgeous evening skirt. The sultry slit paired with the over the knee boots was the perfect way to break up the monochromatic look.
